Tri-Sci Days     $395
Tuesday, June 23 - Thursday, June 25 (9:30 am - 3:30 pm)

Designed especially for our youngest scientists, this 3-day science extravaganza invites curious minds into the lab to experiment, invent, and explore. Campers will solve a mystery using simple chemical tests, discover Newton’s Laws through hands-on challenges, engineer and launch their own rockets, and play with light to create brilliant rainbows. With scientific tools, guided investigations, and plenty of discovery time, students build confidence, creativity, and early STEM skills in a fun, supportive laboratory setting.

Elementary Scientist Camps (3rd - 5th grade)
for campers who have COMPLETED 3rd, 4th or 5th grade only!

Extreme Explosions     $395
Monday, June 29 - Wednesday, July 1 (9:30 am - 3:30 pm) OR

Tuesday, July 7 - Thursday, July 9 (9:30 am - 3:30 pm)

What makes things go BOOM? Join us for fiery reactions and explosive science! We’ll ignite hydrogen, watch alkali metals detonate on contact with water, and unleash the blazing power of thermite reactions. And it doesn’t stop there! Turn fireballs into molten lava, use firecrackers to explore velocity, and dive into the chemistry of endothermic and exothermic reactions, discovering just how much energy is packed into a gummy bear! We’ll also engineer soda-powered geysers with Mentos and create foaming eruptions with the legendary elephant toothpaste experiment. Get ready to learn the science behind the biggest bangs!

Hogwarts Summer Academy     $525
Monday, July 13 - Thursday, July 16 (9:30 am - 3:30 pm) OR

Monday, July 20 - Thursday, July 23 (9:30 am - 3:30 pm)

All aboard the Hogwarts Express! Step into the world of Harry Potter and uncover the real science behind the magic. In Snape’s Potions class, brew bubbling chemical concoctions, create enchanted slimes, and make glowing reactions with luminol. Join Hagrid’s Care of Magical Creatures to meet fascinating living specimens like sea anemones, jellyfish, leeches, and walking sticks! In Herbology with Professor Sprout, tend to carnivorous plants and harness the fiery power of botanical powders to breathe real fire! Finally, take on the ultimate wizarding challenge—construct catapults, explore the physics of Quidditch, and compete in your very own House Cup. Science has never been so spellbinding!

Pirate Science     $550
Monday, July 27 - Thursday, July 30 (9:30 am - 3:30 pm)

All hands on deck for a swashbuckling STEM adventure! Become a pirate scientist as you crack coded maps, geocache for buried treasure, navigate by the stars, and test the explosive chemistry of black powder. Build seaworthy boats for a Pirate Regatta on the Deschutes, experiment with optics and make spyglasses, and uncover the surprising science behind legendary pirate gear. Every day brings a new mission, challenge, and discovery in this immersive, hands-on camp where science meets high-seas adventure.

Jedi Academy     $550
Monday, August 10 - Thursday, August 13 (9:30 am - 3:30 pm)

Welcome to Jedi Academy, where science is your greatest power. Aspiring Padawans will train in the forces that govern our universe, exploring physics, light, and astronomy through hands-on experiments and engineering challenges. Campers will investigate laser optics, create darkside/lightside photo effects in the lab, and use professional telescopes to observe distant galaxies and celestial objects. An epic intergalactic adventure awaits. *This camp includes an evening field trip to Sunriver Nature Center Observatory on August 13th.

Youth Scientist Camps (5th - 8th grade)
for campers who have COMPLETED 5th through 8th grade only!

CSI: Bend     $525
Tuesday, June 16 - Friday, June 19 (9:30 am - 3:30 pm)

A crime has been committed… and you’re on the case. Suit up as a forensic investigator and search the scene for clues, dust for fingerprints, decode handwriting, examine trace evidence, and analyze DNA to uncover the culprit. Every day brings new twists, suspects, and discoveries as you use science and teamwork to piece together the mystery. Fast-paced, hands-on, and inquiry-driven, this immersive crime lab experience builds real-world science skills while delivering detective-style fun.

Mythblasters     $525
Monday, August 3 - Thursday, August 6 (9:30 am - 3:30 pm)

Don’t just believe it, test it! Become a real-world myth investigator and put everyday claims to the test using the scientific method. Campers will design controlled experiments, collect and analyze data, and use lab tools to separate fact from fiction. Does the 5-second rule really keep food safe? Can metal spark in a microwave? Do popular products live up to their promises? Through hands-on testing, engineering challenges, and plenty of messy discoveries, students learn how scientists think—questioning assumptions, building evidence, and drawing conclusions. This is myth-busting science at its best.

Amazing Aviation     $615
Monday, August 17 - Thursday, August 20 (9:00 am - 4:00 pm)

Ready for takeoff? Discover the science that makes flight possible. Future aviators will investigate how planes defy gravity. Design, build, and test your own wings and airfoils in our wind tunnel and train on flight simulators to master the controls. Then head to Leading Edge Aviation for an unforgettable experience—meeting pilots, exploring aircraft up close, and taking to the air in small planes and helicopters for real flight time. This camp gives students a real-world introduction to the science of flying. *Please note this camp meets from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day.
