Adventure Camps These multi-day camps have been designed for students who have completed 5th grade or above. Some of these programs include overnight excursions. Class Title: Description: Class Date: Instructor: Cost: Oregon Outback Odyssey On this seven day/six night camping trip, you will travel through Oregon’s “outback” to see outrageous geological formations while collecting fossils, sunstones and obsidian. While rockhounding through the Great Basin, you will climb peaks, leap from sand dunes and scramble through cracks. June 23rd - June 29th (Monday - Sunday) David Bermudez $700 Amazing Aviation If you have always dreamed of flying, this camp is for you. Investigate Bernoulli’s law and build wings to be tested in our laboratory wind tunnel. We will also use flight simulators and actually fly in small aircraft with Professional Air Services and helicopters with Leading Edge Aviation. July 14th - July 17th (Monday - Thursday) David Bermudez $350 Cave to Coast Camp This seven day/six night traveling camp emphasizes marine biology as you travel the northern California and southern Oregon coastline. Along the way you will spelunk, hike through enormous redwoods, float on the Smith River, dune buggy near Florence, tide pool at some of the most pristine sites on the Oregon coast and whale watch from a Zodiac boat.
