Middle/High School Day Classes
These classes are open to students in 6th grade and above. They are held on Thursdays, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Each eight week session costs $165.00 per student. At 2:30 pm on the dates listed in the "Registration" column, a link stating "Register!" will be added. If you click this link and it states the class you are trying to register for is full, please register anyway and get on the waiting list. We will do our best to rearrange as necessary and accommodate as many people as possible.

| Amazing Astronomy |
From building models of our sun to black holes, students will focus their studies on what can be learned from starlight. An overnight camping trip to Pine Mountain Observatory will provide an exciting opportunity to view planets, stars and galaxies. |

| Outrageous Oceanography |
In this class, students will investigate water, tides, currents and some of the animals that inhabit the tide pools of the Oregon coast. |

| Ecological Extravaganza |
From blue whales to bacteria, students will study the way organisms manage to live together. Interactive physical models will be used to study the ecological concepts of predation, competition and mutualism. |

| Grandslam Geology |
In this class, students will investigate geological principles like volcanism, plate tectonics, continental drift and earthquakes. A field trip to Newberry National Volcanic Monument will reinforce many of the concepts covered in the lab. |
