2010/2011 Elementary School Day Classes
These classes are open to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Each eight week session costs $170.00 per student. At present, the Registration column contains the date that registration will open. After 4:30 p.m. on the date specified, registration for that session will open and this information will be replaced with a link that states "Register!" (if you do not see this link at registration time, try pressing your browser's refresh button). Simply click the "Register!" link to the right of the section you wish to register for and fill out the form. If you click this link and it states the class you are trying to register for is full, please register anyway and get on the waiting list. We will do our best to rearrange as necessary and accommodate as many people as possible.

| Powerful Pressure |
We all live under the same “blanket” of air. In this class, students will investigate how we can use the air around us to crush cans, lift water and fly. |

| Phenomenal Physiology |
In this class, students will study many of the systems that make up the human body. During this class, children will investigate skin, conduct a group heart rate experiment and perform both a bone and brain dissection. |

| Exciting Earth |
In this class, students will investigate aspects of the surface of the earth including rocks, minerals, fossils, soil, water and the sea floor. |

| Astounding Animals |
In this class, students will focus their studies on a variety of animals from microscopic invertebrates to giant snakes. This class includes a field trip to the High Desert Museum and a guest visit from the Reptile Man. |
